This was a Scam Amazon call telling me that £95 was being deducted from my account. I confronted the caller who immediately terminated the call.
SCAM - when I answered the number, it quickly turned to music as if waiting in a queue (similar to waiting to talk to your drs). So I rang it back and it said “sorry this number doesn’t exist”! I had been called by 0161 818 4494 and by 0161 818 4493 it was same for both they do not exist. So I took the last number off changing it to 0161 818 449 when I rang it said the same, it doesn’t exist! I think this is a number used by a company who cold call trying to sell you something, that’s my thought on this.

I doubt a caller from Russia would be legitimately calling me, any half-witted scammer would mask their number if calling from such a terrorist state, so I suspect that it was supposed to be a masked UK mobile number with too many digits. Whatever, it is an unwelcome call.

Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had.
