Scam, claiming to be local and selling advertising at the local doctors surgery

Sounded like Indian call centre but number was for Weybridge area! Tried tried to sell me a number blocking service; most likely a scam. They gave up eventually.

This is from the Greenpeace website Does Greenpeace UK make cold phone ?calls? No. We only make calls to people who have already signed up to our work / one of our campaigns, or who have told an agency that they are happy to be called by us.

Claims to be from Talktalk and has my Customer number but unable to quote my security password. VERY persistent and calls me about three or four times a month. A complete PITA and I wish they would die slowly and painfully from some disfiguring disease.

Fishing for information regarding insurance. Life insurance, home insurance etc. A lot of calls where the line goes dead after I answer, then sometimes they ask for me by name. Tell them I m not interested but just keep on calling.
