Said they were calling from my bank due to an overpayment of an insurance policy..told them it was not possible as I had no policy with bank they were quite pushy so told them they have my details send me a cheque!
Automated message saying they were from Amazon, concerned about an order for an item costing £1000 made with my card, and inviting me to interact with their system. Highly dubious.

Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

SCAM FRADULENT CALL. Call from a mobile number claiming to be the Inland Revenue informing there is fraudulent activity with my Tax Return.... I don't complete a tax return and I'm sure the inland revenue would not call out from mobile numbers.

Looks like yet another new number being used by scammers. Unrecognized number so let it go to answerphone - caller hung up as soon as it cut in. At best a wrong number, but almost certainly another annoying scam.

this number rang a phone that I don't use for calls. Must be automated or sold to a call centre as I've had 3 missed calls this morning from 3 similar numbers, all starting 020 3771 xxxx.
Said it was Highbury council felt like scam ,as called me mam so hang up.
I was just called on this number. Obviously a computerised call as there was a pause before someone with an American accent spoke. Wanted me to confirm a purchase I had made for over £3,000. I put the phone down. SCAM SCAM
