An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

SCAM Received a call today (Indain as usual) about my Sky broadband being slow and this was a free check. Apparently my router has had many problems and is telling their server that my speed is slow!!!! Wanted to know my download/upload speeds and ping! Rang up asking if Id just bought an iphone, and then asked for a one time password that had just been texted to me from Amazon so that they could cancel the transaction. Blocked the scammer.

Called asking for someone I don't know. I said I'm getting tired of getting calls for this person, just accept I don't know him. Caller got aggressive and told me to "get off the fucking line." Well pardon Me for answering my own phone.
Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind .
