Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!

its a scam even if it is 118 because they sell your data at no gain to you. If its unsolicited hang up because I have never seen any unsolicited call from an unknown person being to your benefit - normally its quite the opposite.
