I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).

Claimed to be from CAB Helpdesk. Told me he had a list of my debts to discuss. I m sure CAB has enough work without cold-calling and, since I have no debts either I asked if this was a scam call. The caller hung up immediately.

Asian sounding male called Brian(?). Said I was paying £7 per month for breakdown maintenance(?) for my TV and they could reduce it to £5. I said - no I'm not. He hung up. Probably trying to get me to sign up for something so avoid falling for this scam
