The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. Then I hung up.

Rang several times, then texted, then rang from private number when I blocked them. Looking for someone called Jamie Young , but obviously was a scam or they were drunk.

Fraud - Continually spoke over me, kept offering me "wonderful opportunity for their software to make me money, would not tell me how they obtained my number, answered all questions with "we will step you through once we email you the software", or stated "I understand your misunderstanding", called me ignorant when challenged money for nothing offer, eventually hung up on me when I asserted my right to speak as was constantly spoken over and I asked if there was

SCAM pretends to be police saying NI number has been stolen and fake accounts opened, then transfers to call centre who ask for name, postcode , amount in account etc. probably a hijacked or spoofed number as it is a mobile
Scouse lad calling from a motor accident claim company, asking if I d been in an accident recently. Told them I hadn t (I d had a minor bump a few months back but no injuries to either party, but I m not telling them that). Surprisingly the advisor actually offered to take my number off their database (whether they will or not is another matter).
