020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

SCAM Unknown number has called 12 times today between 0730hrs and 2000hrs. Glad we haven't answered it!

Probable Fraud/Scam - Heavily Indian accented female called Rachel called me purporting to be working for Microsoft at the Reading Campus. Claimed there was a problem with my computer and "bad people were using it for bad things on the internet". Told me she would deactivate my computer if I didn't do what she said. Got quite rude when I told her I didn't believe her. Stalled her for 5 minutes before she hung up on me.

Said it was a return number to contact PayPal on a suspicious email. It is not the number for PayPal given on their website. The number on their website is a landline number not a mobile number.

This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.

The woman I spoke to said her name was Agent Sophine and she was part of the investigation team, even though she kept changing the name of her department. She was very aggressive and spoke very fast. Sales call / this is a call from SD of Verkada Limited - a tech company selling security cameras etc. It will likely be related to an email whereby it is suggested he will be "in your area" next week. Of course he doesn't know where you are and in the absence of matter-transportation will not be there. It's an unsolicited sales call and not very clever. Best avoid firms like this where they start with a lie.

Recorded message claiming to be from Visa Debit stating £900 has just been taken from your account.

Don't know who it was, they didn't leave a message, I didn't answer the phone because I was preparing lunch. Have now blocked the number because on another site over 600 people received a call today.
