Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. I have had a number of calls from mobile numbers with the same first 8 digits.

This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people

15/01/21 Received automated call using american accent claiming to be from Revenue and Customs. I do not believe however that this was legitimate revenue and customs because they would have sent a letter detailing any taxes that were due in order to release any packages i had imported. Also the call would not have had the threatening tone that it developed at the end where it advised me to ready my legal team for further action, had I not returned the call. i have blocked the number

This guy told me he was calling from "O2 Get Connected" I now know that there is no such thing as "O2 Get Connected" he asked me a security question which I failed to answer, I the confronted him about it later on then HE read out MY postcode for me! This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.

PPI scammers These clowns had access to both my home and mobile phone. I am registered with TPS and I don t give out my home phone unless forced. Automated call system - took them 20 seconds to respond. Caller admitted it was a PPI call. I requested to be removed from their list. I rang the number back twice but only got through to a stupid "voice message"
