Some bloke left a message saying he represented the local authority repair team. Didn't identify themselves or the company they represented. Probably a fraudster. Blocked

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

SPAM It seems the numnber listed as an Indian restaurant has been taken over by a highly suspicious foregin mobile phone sales scam operation. Do not anwser or engage with them.
When I answered their call, they asked who I was!! They then went on to say it was about payments made on an Airplus Corporate Credit card, I don't have one. They then said it was connected to a phone number ending in 2331. After saying that wasn't my number they hung up and I've not been able to get them to answer since.

This number called telling me fraudulent activity had happened on my official ID card, which I do not have. I was asked to push one for urgent connection with their agent. I did nothing assuming it was a scam, or spam.

Just got a call from this number. A computer generated voice allegedly from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs saying that a letter had been returned to them undelivered and that legal proceedings would commence... At that point I hung up. I would assume that HMRC would have real people working for them, particularly if it was something legal.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
