Just been contacted by this number,claimed to be from(cooperative energy)asking for an up to date reading of my meters.I normally supply them online at the beginning of the month(which is only 2 days away) I gave them the readings and then they asked if they were located inside or outdoors.They also asked if they were accessible to an engineer should they need to call???????? This has all the makings of a SCAM.I have notified my energy provider regarding this matter

Apparently a genuine call from BT. When I said that this was a scam he got cross and said he could prove he was from BT. I hung up in the end as he was getting irate with me when he had called my work number so I am not even responsible for the bill.
