Received a call from this number with automated message informing me my Amazon prime was being renewed. It encouraged me to press one to be connected to an account manager to cancel payment. It's a scam.

Sadly this IS British gas I phoned them and they admitted that yes they do make presumptive appointments for smart meter installs with the onus on the customer to cancel them The appointment was also on my British Gas online account There is currently NO obligation to have smart meters installed Sadly you cant cancel the appointment online you have to phone them Ive not cancelled yet but put my details in an online complaint and instructed them to cancel it If need be Ill make the call before the appointmen

This number called with a pre-recorded message to say there was an arrest warrant out for me and to press 1. Sounded like an American voice. Clearly a scam to scare someone to press 1 and who knows what that mey lead to.

Two unsolicited calls today. I asked who was calling as she was trying to confirm my name and status. Woman said she was ringing about government energy subsidy. When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.

SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.

How come NOTHING DONE BY ANY AGENCIES? This number has over 100k look ups as a scam?! Find prosecute and put in tech that stops this once and for all-Bas*ards! Rehan Ali was recommended and everything went through smoothly. I did get confused with accessing my account as I tried to do it through British Gas online, who kept saying they did not have a record of me, eventually I twigged that I access the account through Britishgaslite.co.uk not British Gas. We are now waiting for a smart meter to be fitted. I have been given a date and a time rather than a day or half day slot, I just need to see if they turn up, but so far 5 star rating.
