They were asking me about the accident that didn't have 2 years ago. Don't bother answering!
Scam - automated call saying that it was a from amazon to make me aware of possible fraudulent activity on a card connected with my account and would I please key in financial details etc through them. Ended call and checked on my account and card myself - no problems.
SCAM Claimed to be from BT Broadband and told me my internet router was sending error signals to them and that I wasn't getting the speed I should be. They give you a bit of blurb about internet speed and then ask you to turn on your laptop, they ask you to press 'Ctrl + Windows +R' then type: - 'Eventvwr' into the box. They then use screen that comes up to persuade you that you have a problem. Once they have you convinced, which is easily done if you are not tech savvy, the sting.. Your money!!!

Asked who they were, as didn t recognise number said if they were cold calling I wasn t interested. Then attitude became aggressive as I "needed" to listen to them. I asked for my number to be removed from database and not to call me again. They were still going on when I hung up. Now added to blocked list

Told me that there was suspicious activity on my paypal, I logged onto my account through the official website and there were no problems. When I clicked the link they sent my chrome flagged it as not trustworthy.

I call barred this number yesterday and they managed to ring me again today from the same number!!!!!
SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.

I m getting really sick of these calls now. I am registered with TPS but am called both on my mobile and home number. I actually pressed 5 to speak with someone and she just put the phone down on me. This number phoned me at 16.31 this afternoon. It sounded as if there was an office or similar room with people talking. When I asked who was calling, without giving my name, a lady said "good afternoon, how are you today?" I asked again who was calling. the lady said " your father" and hung up. I will be blocking this number henceforth.
