Just signed up for info regarding solar panels. Almost immediately received call from this number. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers as if they are legit I expect them to leave a message. no message left.

SCAM Says they are HMRC and a tax fraud case has been made against you, and if you hang up and dont push the numbers then a police warrant will be issued against you and you'll be arrested immediately.

This number called, asked if was XXXX i said yes then they disconnected. Now blocked - sounded like a call from overseas. This is a work phone which is why i answered it.
The person calling said they were from Carphone Warehouse and wanted to talk to me about upgrading my phone (but didn't seem to know what model phone I had, plus this mobile isn't with Carphone Warehouse), but the number is showing up online as belonging to a newsagent in Daventry so be cautious as I'm not sure it's legit...
