Called twice today, AM and PM. No message left.
Automated call - a pretty convincing recording of a man called Tom wanting to arrange a survey of our loft insulation. Went round in circles for a bit, and then when the recording asked if i was the home owner and I said no it hung up.
SPAM - rang back and someone with a subcontinental accent answered Courthouse Company (if I heard it right) and i said I had a missed call and she said 'are you looking for any mobile phone contracts' which sounds very strange. Advised no and blocked the number.

This is a really great computer training company; they come to your house, and help you with anything you need help learning how to use, and also how to find out how to use something yourself. Really great and I will use them again, Adam is the best trainer, he has a computer Sciences degree so he knew his stuff, he had such a good way of describing it to me, and once I got it, everything started falling into place. 10/10 and highly recommended. Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person. Apparently recruitment company but if really then very unprofessional one. Ask you for your name before introducing themselves, put phone down on you when you wait to be transferred "to a colleague". Wouldn't trust them with my data.

SCAM This number is actually owned by a legitimate person who has nothing to do with the automated calls received, pertaining to be from Amazon. They have stolen the number and are using it to scam people for their credit card details. I believe they have now found a way to generate random numbers that will show up on your call display, yet are not from the sender.
