I held on and then a voice said bye! Dangerous as the number display comes up with a Ballymena number and this is my home area. Checked online bank and no such transactions had occurred.

Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries.
