Had a call from Indian voice, male, telling me he was not seeing me anything but doing a survey.
caller was a male with an asian accent wanting to let me know that my windows software was flagging up some errors, that was a sfar as our conversation went as i told him i didn t believe his s**te and to go get a proper job

I filled in a Saga online form for a health cover quote. This telephone number rang me within 5 minutes of filling in the form. As I didn t recognise the number, I didn t answer the call. I then searched and found out that it s a telemarketing call on behalf of Saga. I do not wish to be contacted this quickly, I would prefer to receive their email with my quote and then consider it in my own time.

I would guess spam. Supposedly from BT and internet. Gave list of instructions all fast and seemingly sounding professional...but as getting a number of similar calls from similar, slightly different numbers i expect the usual rubbish call

BUPA, after I've filled an online form for a quote. Not a scam, but they made me fill an exact same form on the phone, without giving all details I could find on the website. What was the point, I don't know.
Foreign sounding female voice - not very audible- she was trying to explain about an order from Amazon I had paid for but something about the payment had not gone through etc etc. Not sure of the rest but she asked for payment - I have Not ordered from Amazon - she did not know my name so I raised my voice and told her that all this was a SCAM and put the phone down .

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. They sent the following message: O2:We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, please update your payment information via: https://o2.uk.bill630.com/?o2=2 I am 99% sure it's a scam. Firstly it's a mobile number, according to this site it belongs to Vodafone. Aldo the site address isnt an official o2 address from my research. My relative had gotten this message before and when ignoring nothing happened. Please do not fall for it people.

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.
