Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.
I could hear background sounds when I answered the call from this number but nobody said anything. I waited until the caller rang off after a few seconds.
mobile rung 09:25 and when answered cut off immediately. No reason for anyone in that area to call me. Suspect scam of some sort.

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. My elderly father had a call this evening at 7pm from this number advising him that £95 was due for his prescription charges. He does not pay for his medications. I will telephone the company who owns the number tomorrow to make them aware that someone is using their number for illegal purposes.

Suspected scam, mis-spells Royalmail.uk using a 'capital' R. If clicked, goes to royalmail.track-me.link, which then asks for £2.99 to 'proceed the shipment towards your address'. Then asks to 'Book a Redelivery' (redelivery? Haven't tried once yet!) which will almost certainly ask for card details for payment. OBVIOUS SCAM. IGNORE!!!!

i have had a call from this number and when I answer they put the phone down. There was also a call from another mobile number shortly afterwards doing the same thing putting the phone down when I answered from 07760 754834 both calls seem to have come from the Manchester area.
