Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. I have had a number of calls from mobile numbers with the same first 8 digits.
Received call at 11'35am this morning, 14/02/23. Phone reported it as "Suspected Spam" so did not answer.

This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

This is an Amazon Prime scam. The prerecorded message says that if you don't press 1 you will be recieving a £700 odd Iphone. This is an obvious scam so I just dropped the phone.
This number sends you fake Facebook code and upon entering the code your data is hacked, your account gets hacked.

Introduced himself as Matthew Cole. Called me by my first name so he has my mobile number and my name. Said he was calling from Aviva about my Life Insurance. I don't have Aviva Life Insurance I told him. He hung up immediately. SCAM. NOT AVIVA AT ALL AND HIS NAME SEEMED FAKE ALSO. Googled Matthew Cole Aviva nothing came up. DO NOT ANSWER. CALL SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM DUDDERSTON BURMINGHAM ACCORDING TO THE MAP ON THIS WEBSITE.

recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.
