An automated call stating it is from TAXES / HMRC, directing me to speak to an officer re unpaid taxes??? not sure if this is a scam, but i do not have any unpaid taxes so more than likely to be a scam.
BEWARE this number is not the number given by Cabot in their letters or other correspondence It is probably a scam PHISHING they ask for personal data to verify you but could then use that data for financial fraud HANG UP and call the company only on numbers given in their letters dont ring this random number

Phoned my business mobile this afternoon (16.47), when answered the number hung up straight away. I’m a local business based the other end of the country so I have no reason for a London number to be calling me.

Claim to be from the Driveway Centre in Southampton about doing a brochure about their resin driveways. Wanting people to have driveway done so cold calling. We are registered with TPS so when asked why they didn’t check this he put the phone down!
This number belongs to a window company. When asked where they got my landline number from (rarely used) the lady hung up instantly.

Apparently my router has had many problems and is telling their server that my speed is slow!!!! Wanted to know my download/upload speeds and ping! But could also be the dreaded I'm calling from Microsoft - monitoring the worlds IP addresses and yours is being used illegally. Whoever they are block the number and relax. It might be good if you have your Banks fraud team number logged in the phones phone book.

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
