01376 333376 - This is the number for F R Shadbolt and Sons Ltd, they're based in Braintree and make doors they have a whopping pension deficit hidden away in the notes of their accounts so unless they're asking for money to help I don't think there's much to worry about!

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

Got a random text from it reading "Snapchat [code] passcode for phone enrolment Never share it" If it's a phishing scam it's a bit weak, I'm not even sure where I need to enter the code to get scammed (I'm guessing it's a hyperlink) Anyhow I know it's not legit because I don't even use Snapchat

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. ISP scam from India. Man from Openreach said that my internet connection had been used for illegal activity and they would disconnect me. Obvious scam. I played dumb for a bit and eventually the guy gave up and disconnected the call.
