Says they were BT but due to a heavy Indian accent I couldn't understand what he was saying. Have had people claiming to be BT contacting me before claiming there was an issue with my computer, why BT would contact me about my computer which has nothing to do with them caused alarm bells to ring. Not sure if this was one of these calls but be wary if answer, don't let them have control of your computer for whatever reason they give.
Its a travel agency called www.mytripuk.com safe reliable and cheap. Highly recommended.

Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

We had a phone call from this number claiming to be Sky. They were telling us that someone was using our hub and that they were going to send us a "security app" . When they couldn't tell us our Sky account number correctly, we hung up.

I was called from this number by a woman asking to speak to somebody who wasn`t me. The name she asked for is the same as I`ve had on other scam calls. This is a dangerous number.

SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?
