I was phoned by 01425615425 today telling me they were from bt and they were going to cut my internet off because fraud is being committed from my internet connection this of course is untrue and it is fraudulent phone call and when I said your lying it's a scam they were rather rude and hung up on me
An Asian accented female called from this number. Insisting she was from Vodafone. Said she had a deal for me and was given my number to offer this great deal but no details about my contract. I said she should have my contract, she said no, this went back and forth. The deal was worse then my current contract. I said she was wasting my time. She said I was wasting hers and got rude. I said your behaviour and comments implies your are not Vodafone and are most likely a scam. She put the phone down

Phone number - UK landline - 01174526780 called my unregistered landline. Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2 offering a 50% discount. Wanted me to read a one time code. I checked and I did have a text from O2 but the code said it was to retrieve my account and that O2 would not ask for the number. I told the guy this and he insisted that it was a promotional code and the warning meant I shouldn't tell anyone else about the number. Looked up the number and it wasn't connecte with O2. I demanded proof from the guy that he was from O2 and he got upset at me. SCAM!

Text Message - from BT SMS. As a Vodafone customer this is being sent via my line to my router to pick up as a message. Unless I actually answer or get the message, the number keeps calling. Have asked for this to be stopped by Vodafone but unfortunately it still hasn't.

Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.
