Please whatever you do, do not give your financial details to these Indian scammers! They are using an IP phone network to impersonate Virgin media and try to obtain your account details and the long number on your credit/debit card! Call from lady with Indian accent saying she was from Microsoft and that my name was being used by hackers and that she wanted to verify my licence number.

SCAM - I got a "Security Warning" from O2 with a one-time code, followed by a call from this number that is clearly a scam.

Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! bit of a strange one, sounded like one of those scamming call centres judging by the noise in the background, this call came a few days after my google account was accessed by someone and google locked it down, seemed legit at the time but on second thoughts was a strange one, didn't really ask for any personal info so maybe I'm wrong but strange all the same, also they never called be back like they were asked to, so I will put it on here anyway since it may be linked to the hackers maybe might help someon

This number keeps texting with just a 7 digit number underlined . There is nothing else and obviously I won’t click in it. Think it’s a scam of some sort

Claimed to be from EE offering a special deal but when asked to verify that she was from EE she hung up. Must be a scam or would not have hung up like that.

“Curry’s” cold call for iPhone upgrade - on my work phone!

"David", in his very difficult-to-understand accent, said he was calling from '3' about upgrading my phone. Do I have an iPhone or a Samsung? I don't even have a contract with 3, so this has got to be some sort of scam. I rang off.

This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.

'Simon tried to deliver a package this morning. but no-one was at home.' I was directed to an http website to rearrange a post office delivery. (I did not go there) - I have no deliveries due. -I was at home. -The post office have never contacted me in this way before. -I have had similar messages from 'Simon' from different numbers in the past. This number seems dangerous.

This number is a brand new HMRC scam. Be careful. Managed to hold up their phone lines for a few hours today, but they will 100% be making more calls over the coming days and months. Don't be fooled by them.
