This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. He is an elderly gentleman and went straight to the police as he doesn’t have Amazon prime, the police called the number but it doesn’t accept incoming calls surprise surprise. SCAMMERS

Asked if I have loft insulation and if it is more than 3 years old it will not comply with updated regulations after the Grenfell tower fire. Not sure if this is legit - he wanted to book a half hour survey of my loft. Declined saying that I would check out the government initiatives for myself as this was an unsolicited call.

I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General.
