Rang at 13.40 on a weekday - only been at this address 6 months and get more nuisance calls than genuine ones. Thanks to this site I now flag them up as such on the handset so I don t answer them, and gradually they stop trying.

Missed a call, called back and strange American answer voice said to hold the line. I hung up then. Number registered as a landline in Nairn.

Started calling me about 2 weeks ago, usually just after 8am or around 4pm. Answered once but now use phone s blocking mode to stop their calls. The phone logs the calls but does not respond.

UK +447738015632 is a Scam caller. Hang up, block the number & report it. I answered & it took a couple of seconds to connect to the caller, in the way offshore call centres connect. Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.
