No idea who keeps calling me from this number 07989908386 , all calls go to my telephone answering machine but no message is ever left.
Seemed like a scam to me. Automatic message said there were suspicious charges againt my bank account and invited me to press 1 to cancel these charges. Banks don't work like that.

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. If you'd spoken, your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con-artist would then be phoning you later.

Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. 02394313280 called 21 Dec 22 at 14:59hrs, no message left. Some searches list it as QA hospital Portsmouth. Some searches listed by QA employees confirm the source but not the purpose.. Might have been genuine but they'll call again if it is so?

at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.
