Scam caller, pretending to be from O2. When questioned about how they got my number, they swore and hung up.
Answered but silence on ht eline - blocked the number, prbably a computer dialling to validate numbers.
Called about 11am this morning. Well spoken female voice with English accent said she was an official energy agent in the area and asked if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I immediately asked her the name of the energy company she worked for. She immediately ended the phone call. Obviously a scam.
Claimed to be from virgin but sounded suspicious.
Scam call proposing to get money back from a (non existing) investment in a bit coin company that has lost its license. Difficult to understand the overseas accent. Waste of time. Who believes this rubbish?
020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Pretending to call on behalf of the DVLA. Wanting to know if I owned a diesel car in return for compensation. I didnt confirm. Knew my first name. Got aggressive and refused to remove my details from the database. Threatened me with more calls. Blocked and reported.
'Simon tried to deliver a package this morning. but no-one was at home.' I was directed to an http website to rearrange a post office delivery. (I did not go there) - I have no deliveries due. -I was at home. -The post office have never contacted me in this way before. -I have had similar messages from 'Simon' from different numbers in the past. I've had two missed calls from this local phone number, but they don't bother to leave a message & when I phone back it is an automated message that let's me know that nobody will answer and I can't leave a message. If you don't warn someone you're going to phone, they're not going to answer. My only guess is that it's someone from the council or Severn Trent possibly.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Fraud A well spoken man allegedly called "John" saying he understood I was the the homeowner which I declined to answer and started banging on about solar panels. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Like many other reports I am TPS registered, so if a genuine company they are breaking the law. If a scam, as I suspect it is, of course also illegal. They said a large transaction was being approved, if this isn’t you, call the number After calling, the same electronic voice is used as Santander’s official line, they said “press 1 to speak with an agent” If you press 1, the line hangs up. Which I’m assuming should trigger a charge
