NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital Clydebank - a genuine call(!) - am amazed, in this day & age... Didn't answer (due to spammers/cold-callers) - however they phone a week b4 to confirm appointments. I checked this number out (including here) b4 calling then back. This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.
Scam: recorded message - unauthorised transactions on your account etc. Asked if they were proud of their job - they said that britain took lots of wealth from india so it was justified.

They're weird, rings our office 3/4 times a week and no one speaks. We don't recognise the number and its not a local code. They don't say anything just hang up after about 5 seconds.

SCAM Eastern European Accent - Matthew Rogers from the International Fob Watch. Asked how I was, I said fine. I said what's this about, sounds interesting. The caller went silent, i could hear them and then they hung up. Suspect this is possibly an investment scam...at a guess. Certainly getting the block treatment.

They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
