Avantis!! these guys use several numbers but this one is actually a geographical number from Stoke-On-Trent

They ring every day and don t speak when I answer. Why aren t they being investigated by Ofcom and put out of existence? Is harassment legal?

Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. I started getting calls from this number saying that I was owed compensation for a car accident I had recently been in. I informed them I had never been in an accident so they asked me if a family member had been, and I said no and hung up. I ve had a few more calls saying the same thing, and each time I told them to f*** off and hung up. Now they call, don t say anything and then hang up, this happens at least once a week.

Prerecorded message starts up on answering, "This is an URGENT message regarding your private pension" so I hung up.
