Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
I received a call from this number and it hung up straight away. I blocked the contact immediately. I had been called hours before from a Belgian number. Seems dubious. The number is: +447761 044888

Received a call from an unknown telephone number at 09 42 I was informed that a large amount of money had been taken from my current bank account and they wanted to know my security code etc .
