SCAM Received a call today (Indain as usual) about my Sky broadband being slow and this was a free check. Apparently my router has had many problems and is telling their server that my speed is slow!!!! Wanted to know my download/upload speeds and ping! A message in a Chinese language was left by whoever dialled the number. Possibly automated. This happened today at 14:47PM and also on numerous occasions in the past. What is strange about this automated message in Chinese, is that I keep hearing it a lot and it is over a year now since this happened, the only difference is that, I see other UK numbers which was displayed on my phone and the same automated message is heard. I have no clue what the message is all about!

Phoned at 05.40 am! As soon as I picked up it went to “voice mail” with a recorded message saying the mail box was full. Very American/Canadian sounding voice on voice mail message. So far, nothing else other than inconvenience!
Cold call. Hard to understand what was being said but claimed to be EE making some offer. To be fair, caller didn't persist.
Call saying Amazon were taking £79.99 from my a/c and press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to advisor. I put phone down. I notice callers are introducing themselves with very English christian names, when clearly have Asian accents.! When challenged, they end the call.

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

SCAM - Call to my landline at 9.53 today. It was a pre-recorded message saying they were querying a suspicious Debit Card payment of £600 sent abroad. They did not say what bank or give any other details. I was asked to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to confirm. I hung up.
