This is a fraudulent number claiming to give upgrades on EE customers.
As it was our local area code we answered. After a short pause a male with an Asian accent said he was from BT and asked how we were, of course we instantly hung up, we are not BT customers.
Call centre; obtained this information by cutting the call and ringing caller. Typical background noise of call centre environment. Harrassing and unsolicited.

Says they are from O2 and told me that I am getting a massive discount on my contract as I've been with them for so long. The funny thing is, I'm not even with O2 and as soon as I pointed this out (while laughing) they immediately hung up.

SCAM I received 4 calls from this number today, between 16.47 pm / 16.49 pm / 16.51 pm / 17.02 pm. It was an unrecognised number, so it went straight to my voicemail. No voicemails, were made. Claimed to be from AMAZON PRIME stating that my credit card had been debited with the sum of £95 for my Prime subscription…n!!! If I have a problem with this PRESS 1 .. Needless to say I pressed nothing !! I know for a fact mine doesn’t expire until the 2nd September, 2023. They are trying to get you to panic .. Ignore and press nothing !!!!!

The unknown number had called a few times. In the end I answered the call and it was to do with Bitcoin so I hung up.
Probable scam. Didn’t answer but when I called back I had a message saying the number was not in use. This is a red flag for a scammer!
