It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. I then knew it was a scam as I don’t have a visa account.

It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !
Phoned me claiming to be 92 and wouldn’t tell me who they were looking for and tried to tell me that I was with a network that I wasn’t with, they also transferred me to two other people who also couldn’t tell me my name!

I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.
