This number called with a pre-recorded message to say there was an arrest warrant out for me and to press 1. Sounded like an American voice. Clearly a scam to scare someone to press 1 and who knows what that mey lead to.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. This number when called back tells you that you have dialled an incorrect number. My opinion is by experience that it’s a spam number. Usually trying to sell something or get details from you for insurance or PPI claims. I have blocked now.
