Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2079460xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Indian call centre dealing with PPI, accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

These companies that provide numbers in first instance need to be investigated and blocks put in place. I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do??? In my opinion virtual numbers and use there of including the companies that provide these numbers needs to be monitored to stop this abuse. SCAM Spam Fraud all the names you can think. Don't bother picking up or replying your call won't go through. Just add it to the ever increasing blocked numbers! My blocked is starting to challenge my phones contacts! I'd love to KNOW WHO it is selling my details as all of my numbers are meant to be protected & are kept out of the phone book etc. Wonderful to wake up to a fake call! Another call from these people today. Couldn't hear anything from the other end so I put phone down.
Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.
