A chap from a loft insulation company. Seemed genuine but I had my doubts, he didn't tell me what company he was from. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. Just said my loft insulation was inefficient, I just put the phone down and blocked the number.

Genuine Nat west fraud I telephoned my bank to verify this and was told to ring the number back as possible fraudulent activity is noted on my account. Lucky enough the bank was on the ball and I didn’t lose anything but they had denied £100s of pounds from being used on a gambling site
Automated voice says a large charge made against our Visa card… We don’t have a Visa card, so it’s a scam call.

Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. Fraud this number is being used to steel the identify of cjhh solicitors and attempting to extort money from clients who are in the process of property transactions and intercept the money to be sent to the fraudsters bank account

Scam pretending to be HMRC threatening arrest for not paying tax. If in doubt check HMRC's website and they state; "HMRC will never: •leave a voicemail threatening legal action •call threatening arrest" If this happens report it, it is a malicious and stress inducing scam
Other similar sites reflect that this is a scammer - between 2 other sites I looked at, calls started from this number about 4 or so hours ago and the number has been searched almost 1,000 times!

Emmisions advice team, wanted me to enter contract to reclaim compensation for my diesel BMW. Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.
Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.
I returned the call and it was for the British Heart Foundation regarding collection of furniture that I was asking them to collect (March 2023)
