SCAM Silent the “Tom” says he’s from Green Eco Centre regarding faulty loft insulation in my postcode area….carries on to say we need an assessment then tells me we may not qualify after the free survey is carried out & will have to pay for a spray coating on the underside of roof! The scam comes when checking some details he wants to know how to spell my surname (it’s not a hard one). I asked him to spell it to me & I would confirm if he got it right…..surprise surprise the line went dead…

Always a silent call and then phone goes down. As I have said before if you want my bank account (the one in Switzerland naturally) you just have to ask very very nicely. Or have you not figured out the other gadget on the end of you call centre headphones is for speaking! There numerous videos on UTube to show you how to do this. G

This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people
