Text to my mobile as follows!!!!We are aware that some patients are experiencing difficulty accessing the surgery. This is affecting all of South Tyneside Hospital (our phones are routed through the hospital) . The hospital is working hard to resolve this. We apologise for the inconvenience.
This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.
This number keeps ringing and then hangs up. Really annoying.
I believe this to be a scam and should be investigated

I do not know anyone in Edinburgh nor am I dealing with any company/organisation in Edinburgh! The caller did not leave a message which leaves me to think it was either. Scam or someone selling something. Either way, it was an unwanted phone call.

'Chris' told me he was from a Claims Company based in Truro and he was calling about a previous ppi claim that I had been underpaid for. He was quite convincing giving me the company reg no & address so I could confirm he was legit! He knew my address/DOB and the details of my previous claim. The Claims Company only has 2 employees, neither based in London! Definitely a scam beware as he was very convincing and never asked for bank details! He called back today, probably for bank details - I didn't
