Contacted me by a dating app and tried to make me sign up at a very suspicious online trading account platform with 1% reputation, luckily I searched for it before clicking on his link. Very insistant on "always send me a screenshot so I can guide you" and hurrying me up because I am going to miss a trend. Very very suspicious of scam.

Scam tried to rip my 94 yr old mother off by offering a pendant fortunate she live with us but we weren't there to stop her giving bank details out . Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. SPAM Having multiple calls from the above number and 4 others with a variation in the last four digits. No messages are left. I am now up to 14 calls in past two days. UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). Telemarketing called twice in 10 mins, first was just a dead line, 2nd was a person trying to book review of our website, said it would take about 20 mins. kindly refused their offer. Call area code is Kelso but the caller said they were based in Luton
Can't say definitively but caller claimed to be from BT but did not have my account number or ask by name so I just told that that's a bit odd and hung up.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2 offering a 50% discount. Wanted me to read a one time code. I checked and I did have a text from O2 but the code said it was to retrieve my account and that O2 would not ask for the number. I told the guy this and he insisted that it was a promotional code and the warning meant I shouldn't tell anyone else about the number. Looked up the number and it wasn't connecte with O2. I demanded proof from the guy that he was from O2 and he got upset at me. SCAM!

Was difficult to understand, he asked if we had any repairs done, I made out I have been waiting a year, he then asked if I was a council tenant, I asked him what day is he coming to fix my indoor swimming pool, he put the phone down, I tried ringing back, but just a recorded message ????????
