Another text message stating I have a voice mail and follow the link sent. Looks like it was sent from Manchester which is a hive of scam callers.
Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.
I have tried to return this call, but the number is not recognised
SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!

I had a call yesterday when I answered I was asked it I was Mrs A when I said yes the phone was immediately put down, I phoned back but no one answered, I had another call from the same number today .I'm worried as to why they have phoned me and know my name .

If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later, and usually using a different number! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you've just successfully escaped being scammed! First half the call I thought I was talking to a real person, said they were from some housing repair scheme and said I'd submitted a damage claim. The second I said I had not the voice changed to an automated response in a totally different voice saying Thank you for your time, have a nice day and disconnected.

Fraud SPAM: We’ve been speaking to BT about this and they confirmed the call was indeed a scam. A spokesperson from BT told us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.
Fraud received an automated call from Amazon Prime saying an amount of £79.99 was outstanding and to press 2 to talk to customer services. Pressed 2 and a foreign gentleman told me that I-needed to resolve this situation. I told him it was a scam, he refuted it, told him again it was a scam and he needed to get a better job, he lost it and called me a white honky dumb bitch and slammed the phone down on me. He’s obviously not having a good day. Lol !
