A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. If you choose not to bother to learn and not to bother to share what you learn, you're part of the problem.

Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). Allegedly Vodafone ringing me to give me a 40% discount on my bill for 12 months. I don't use Vodafone. I use ASDA, so they use Vodafone as the signal, but I have no dealings or bills with Vodafone. So clearly a scam.
Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.
