Scam. Definitely. So-called call from "security department". I asked 'security department' of what? The woman (Asian voice - lots of background "office" noise) repeated, 'This is the Security Department!' to which I repeated "Of what?!" She hung up. Point made. Case closed. Catch the bastards!

Calls every day, sometimes several times a day and usually in the afternoons about a ficticious accident a family member was supposed to have had in 2013.
SCAM. Recorded bot message claiming a fraudulent case has been opened against you by HMRC. Instructed to dial 1 to be put through to an HMRC agent. If you don't an arrest warrant will be issued and you'll be arrested shortly.

They claimed to be from BT and said my router was slow. I told them I would phone them. I suspect it is a scammer.

Told me he was from security office and I had been spotted using my mobile phone whilst driving. He told me it carried an instate suspension of my licence. It doesn t. I put the phone down.

SCAM This is a scam. Saying from Virgin Media broadband has been compromised. The last two days I have received the same phone call from this number and 01247653898 and 01494297243 all foreign sounding people. Don't answer.
SCAM / SPAM When answered phone, a recorded message began. It got as far as the word "Amazon" and I hung up. Probably the Amazon Prime scam doing the rounds again! I really wish there was some way for the government or telephone companies to stop people making all of these scam calls. I block the numbers but they must use lots of other ones as every time I try to search a number it hasn't previously been reported.
