Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

My parents, both in their 80 s, have been receiving calls from this number. Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn t have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. SCAM Bogus call purporting to be on behalf of my business bank. Started asking questions they should have already had answers to if they were legitimate. Curtailed call (had to speak over woman who was forceful). Called bank and this was not one of their authorised market researchers.

It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. When are the enforcement agencies actually going to do something meaningful about it?
These people phone me at least 5 times a day even though they have the wrong number!! Do not answer to these idiots as they will fish for your personal information and use it to do god knows what.
