A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

SCAM - asked about our BT contract, we do not have BT, when I advised and told him it was a scam he was abusive!

Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.

They told me they were from Sky, our provider, and that there had been issues for the past 2 days which they were going to sort over the phone. I hung up and surprisingly he didn’t ring back!! Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!
