SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.

Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. Similar numbers have called before and I don't answer as end numbers after 01270 are not from within Crewe itself. I know as in Crewe myself. These are spoofed numbers calling landlines and mobiles in hope of catching people out if they know someone from Crewe and surrounding local towns that also use 01270 area code. I had a phone call re banking and I think this is a scam
Got a fake text from this number, claiming to be Santander. They said a large transaction was being approved, if this isn’t you, call the number After calling, the same electronic voice is used as Santander’s official line, they said “press 1 to speak with an agent” If you press 1, the line hangs up. Which I’m assuming should trigger a charge

Owen called from 0113 823 1763 claiming to be from Nationwide Fire Safety and said we had a quote for fire extinguishers from them last year - but had a 8year+ old address and we had never spoken to them before. Scam.
They called me, I did not recognise the number when I saw they'd rung. I sent sms to say call again if not a hoax, but they didn't... assuming it's a spam call.

AMAZON Query claiming that over £1000 has been spent on an Amazon purchase , dangerous scam.
Number called 3 times advising they are calling from the Carphone Warehouse and wanted to offer me an upgrade. They 1st and foremost didnt know which network i was with yet they were offering me an upgrade. It sounded dodgy so i thought i post on here. Please beware!
