We answered this call to be asked if we wanted a Will writing service. They not only new our phone number they also new our Surname. We are ex directory so this should not happen but I understand it is not always a BT fault/reason. It is, though a BT problem if they do not take the number away from the owner as well as refuse them a phone line. Surely this is possible? BT please read !!!

Just got the call as well. I called back and got through to a voicemail saying the "officer" is not available and I should leave a message. Then couldn't leave voicemail cause mailbox was full. SCAM!!

Exactly the same as previous comment but it was Sean Johnston that called first and then when I expressed concern he asked if I would like to speak to a more senior person. He repeated word for word what Sean had said and wanted me to log in to a laptop. I cut the call and heard no more. I have concern that a more vulnerable person may be sucked into this so please spread the word.

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). When I explain that they are totally in the wrong and there is no money owed to me they have become VERY RUDE. Very plausible voice offering a solution to my scam calls by issuing a Section 70 order against the purps for just £3 a month for 5 years after which their service would be free. At best this is too good to be true.
