Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. I strung them along. "Glad you called, I went through all the details with your colleagues weeks ago. They said I was due £8k in compensation'. 'Sir this is the 1st time I've called you.' Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.

Call with lots of noise in background, claimed to be from 'Phone house company' I think, hard to make out. I hung up due to not recognising this name.
Claiming to be from Microsoft to say they have detected hacking on a computer, which is not switched on (not plugged in to a power supply). He threaten to cancel the Microsoft Licence Number saying - that Microsoft would not support the product and the computer could no longer be used!
Quite possibly a person I deal with calling from home during this holiday week! I need to dig deeper...

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Although the number is a London number it would appear it is redirected from a foreign country as the language was not great and any question I asked was answered with a repeated line stating the deal they were offering and not actually answering my question.
