He calls himself Dr. Paul Wilson (the same name on Facebook). He is using others’ pictures as his identity and send messages. Become friends and then asks for money. Be careful.
Definitely spam. Claimed to be Amazon about a purchase valued at £790. I have NOT made such a purchase and I did NOT press 1 to speak to an Amazon representative.

We had a phone call from this number claiming to be Sky. They were telling us that someone was using our hub and that they were going to send us a "security app" . When they couldn't tell us our Sky account number correctly, we hung up.

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

SCAM Called on my mobile @ 20.00hrs. A Northampton dial code. Caller when questioned was from "the Philipines" looking to see if I qualify for "home insulation" funding. When asked how my phone number was accessed the caller hung up. Had this not been a recognised dial code I would not have answered the call. number now blocked. Also appears on missed calls list from yesterday @ 12.58hrs.

Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. Cold call offering to reduce my vodaphone payments but not from vodaphone itself apparently we’re supplied with number from who I could not ascertain when I refused to disclose my current payment and asked them to make me an offer they closed the call. This number (with slight variations on the last three digits) has called four times in less than 24 hours. Did not pick up, did not recognise the number but did find that, although the number comes up as United Kingdom, the number(s) are landline in Pskov, Russia. VERY SUSPICIOUS

An Asian accented female called from this number. Insisting she was from Vodafone. Said she had a deal for me and was given my number to offer this great deal but no details about my contract. I said she should have my contract, she said no, this went back and forth. The deal was worse then my current contract. I said she was wasting my time. She said I was wasting hers and got rude. I said your behaviour and comments implies your are not Vodafone and are most likely a scam. She put the phone down

call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.
No message left now blocked.

Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.
