Attempted scam. Fake number, been called several times. "I am calling from BT, there is a problem with your Broadband Line". Do not talk to them, do not let them access your PCs.

Calked this morning. Didn't answer as I don't answer numbers I don't know. Left a strange voicemail. Googled the number came up as a scam caller.

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

If you sign up for information, they call you. I was in tears asking them to stop, they laughed at me.

The Redditch (01527) number followed by 419 and three subsequent digits (e.g. 01527 419134, 01527 419162 etc.) are used by an apparently unscrupulous debt collection agency that is based in Grosvenor House in Redditch. They are NOT Scottish Power. Also, be careful...this outfit uses the "open phone-line" trick in an effort to trick you into revealing more information by further misrepresentation when you try to call SP directly on the same phone on which they called, a fraudulent method used by scammers sin

Called me three times today - silent each time.

Said he wanted someone called Ban Newman. No one called Ben Newman could possibly have lived here for the last 20 years, as we have and had our number for 20 years and are on TPS, so either someone has misused our number or they are lying. If they call again I shall report them to the TPS and anyone else I can find.

Called my mobile but disconnected before it even rang. Left no message. Didn't recognise the number so didn't call it back.

Nuisence call from somebody calling themselves Benificial. They ask for personal information and are relentless in ringing over and over
